Author’s Note: A number of people in Antigua agreed to speak with me only with the clear understanding that I would disguise their real names and stories. This is a work of fiction. All of the characters, incidents, and dialogue, except for incidental references to public figures, products or services, are imaginary and are not intended to refer to any living persons or to disparage any company’s products or services. The first six chapters are open for general access. The unfinished chapters are restricted until final editing.
